No, I’m not talking about that move…although that one is getting closer.

I think this blog is becoming a bit too confusing…part of the time I’m talking about Ithaca, part of the time I’m talking about Ireland. (& then part of the time, who knows what I’m talking about)

So within the next 2-3 weeks, we’ll be setting up a separate site that will be totally devoted to things about the move to Ireland.  (well, unless there is some other random thing that pops into my head that day). And all of my blogging concerning the Ithaca Vineyard will be done through the church’s webite. Hopefully that will help keep things a bit less confusing.

In the meantime, this site will likely sit quietly for a while (I mean I can barely keep one blog going, let alone 3).

It’ll take us a while to get things moved over and we’ll definitely let you know when it happens.

Thanks for reading!

What about Bob?

I grew up in Western New York and have started and led missional church planting efforts for a little over 30 years. As you might gather, I have opinions about the church, and I share some of them here.

While you can find a lot out there blaming the Nones, the ex-vangelicals, or those who are deconstructing their faith, for why fewer people attend church than did previously, I believe the first place we need to look is at ourselves.

3 Ways Christendom Has Been Bad for the Church

This is the fourth post in a series I’ve been writing on Christendom. The previous ones (here, here and here) were to lay some groundwork as I move into the main idea I want to dig into: the damage done to the church by aligning with the Roman Empire and,...
