A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that we were close to moving and mentioned that it was the first of several changes that were in the works this year.  Only one person asked what the other changes were, but I told him I couldn’t go into everything yet.

I actually went to church today thinking, it would still be a while before the next big change was public, but after service, I was talking to someone at the information table & they said, “I hear congratulations are in order.”  I was thinking, “she must mean on the apartment,” and said, “thanks.”  Then she asked if we were excited, and I said, “yes we are.”  At this point, still not exactly sure what she’s talking about.  However, when she said, “and on March 2oth too!”  that was when I learned it was safe to share the news.

As you’ve probably guessed by now, Elizabeth & I are expecting our 4th child in March!  Liz just had her first visit to the midwife this past week (the same day we moved into the apartment) and we heard the baby’s heart!

We are excited, a bit scared, and actually feeling a bit old, but clearly very excited is leading the way.

We’ll be keeping you up to date!

What about Bob?

I grew up in Western New York and have started and led missional church planting efforts for a little over 30 years. As you might gather, I have opinions about the church, and I share some of them here.

Malin Head is a two-hour drive from where we are staying in Donegal, but I have wanted to visit for a while. So, we get to the top of the hill, looking for a place to park, and people start waving at us. There was a thought that perhaps they were signaling that we...
