Shutting Down

Over the past several months I've tried to figure out how to organize the various web sites we have up and running. I thought I came up with a good idea a few months ago...but it didn't work. Having 3 sites with 3 focuses, was a bad idea. BobWilson.me has been my blog for over 5 years now, and I've enjoyed writing here. However, after thinking about it for the past few months, it has become clear that something had to go ...and the obvious answer was this site.

Over the past several months I’ve tried to figure out how to organize the various websites we have up and running. I thought I came up with a good idea a few months ago…but it didn’t work.  Having 3 sites with 3 focuses, was a bad idea.

BobWilson.me has been my blog for over 5 years now, and I’ve enjoyed writing here. However, after thinking about it for the past few months, it has become clear that something had to go …and the obvious answer was this site.

While this blog worked well while I was pastoring the Vineyard church in Ithaca, NY, focusing on our family’s journey to Dublin, and our upcoming church plant seems to make the most sense right now.

So I have decided to shut down BobWilson.me.

Thank you to each of you who have faithfully read and interacted here.

What next?

If you were subscribed to this blog, please consider subscribing to TheWilsonsInDublin.com, by adding feed://www.thewilsonsindublin.com/feed/ into your rss reader. At this point, we are posting over there 2 or 3 times each week.

DublinChurchPlant.com will continue to have various information about our upcoming church plant in the Clontarf area of Dublin.

Thanks again for being part of the past 5 years! It was a lot of fun. See you over at TheWilsonsInDublin.com.

What about Bob?

I grew up in Western New York and have started and led missional church planting efforts for a little over 30 years. As you might gather, I have opinions about the church, and I share some of them here.

sermon stealing…and other types of thievery

The issue of sermon stealing has been in the news lately. I’ve wanted to write about something since Scot McKnight began discussing it a couple of years ago…I’ve been putting some thought together. I hope to post it in the next week or so. But the topic of church and...
