I’ve been working through N.T. Wright’s Simply Christian, and every chapter is filled with several points where you simply say, “wow!”  This is one from today & I think a great one to start the week off with.

“We have lived far too long in a world and tragically even in a church…where the wills and affections of human beings are regarded as sacrosanct as they stand.  Where God is commanded to require what we already love, and to promise what we already desire.”
