So I  remember back in the Spring looking forward to taking some vacation in July. Got to do some work on the house, (or hire some professionals to do some work on the house), have some fun with Liz & the kids & get to see some family. July was good but it’s over…now it is back at it.

Actually, I’ve been back for a week now, but got to spend most of that time, digging out from under all the stuff that was waiting for me when we returned.  Needless to say, I didn’t do any blogging, twittering, or anything other than stuff that needed to get done.  (stuff for Seek, stuff for the building, catching up with the staff after being gone for so long).  This week actually looks like we’ve gotten ahead a bit, so hopefully, I’ll get to write a bit more here.

On Thursday & Friday,  a few of us are going up to Syracuse for the Willowcreek leadership conference.  That is always a great time & I’m looking forward to it!  On Friday night, we’ll drive to Rochester, meet my parents, pick up Hannah & Brenna & give them Erin.  Then on Saturday, we’ll be taking Hannah down to PA so she can spend a week at a Vineyard Youth Leadership Conference.

Okay, so maybe this isn’t such a light week after all…guess I better get moving.

What about Bob?

I grew up in Western New York and have started and led missional church planting efforts for a little over 30 years. As you might gather, I have opinions about the church, and I share some of them here.

Malin Head is a two-hour drive from where we are staying in Donegal, but I have wanted to visit for a while. So, we get to the top of the hill, looking for a place to park, and people start waving at us. There was a thought that perhaps they were signaling that we...
