A brief break from sharing the story of our journey from Ithaca to Ireland to share some exciting news. As many of you know, yesterday (18 July) marked the 1 year anniversary of our move to Dublin.

We also reached another important milestone yesterday.

After my experience of not getting a job because I’m “Not from Ireland,” we decided that we needed to refocus our efforts on raising our support. At that point we had about 40% of our budget raised.

In the past couple of months however, we’ve seen that number climb over 50% for the first time!! (51.5% to be exact!)

That one line from Livin’ on a Prayer has been running through my head for the past day.

Thanks to all of you who’ve been part of our support team!

We invite you to enjoy a minute of Méabh & one of the waitresses celebrating our 1 year anniversary…

What about Bob?

I grew up in Western New York and have started and led missional church planting efforts for a little over 30 years. As you might gather, I have opinions about the church, and I share some of them here.
